Alabama football’s wide receiver, Cole Adams was banged up in the Crimson Tide’s win over the Missouri Tigers Saturday at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Adams left Saturday’s game in the first quarter with a reported lower-body injury. This occurred when Adams was hit from behind by a Missouri defender in an attempt to screen block on a pass play for C.J Dipree.

The Oklahoma native was helped off of the field by medical staff and did not return to play after the first quarter.

Kalen DeBoer commented on Adams’ status afterwards.

“We’ll do more evaluation, but it feels like it’s gonna be something that might be a little bit of time where he’ll be missed,” DeBoer said. “We’ll probably have more on Monday with that, but that’s what it feels like right now.”

Adams has recorded six receptions for 94 yards this season and has been a reliable returner on special teams.
