Kansas places Les Miles on administrative leave after LSU harassment allegations surface

Kansas Jayhawks football coach Les Miles was placed on administrative leave Friday after sexual harassment allegations were revealed from his time with the LSU Tigers.

Athletic director Jeff Long said the school will be conducting "a full review to determine next steps," according to ESPN's Chris Low.

Miles, who coached at LSU from 2005-16, allegedly kissed a female student twice and told her she was attractive in 2013. The 67-year-old denied the allegations at the time, but there were more.

Miles also allegedly behaved inappropriately with other female students. He allegedly labeled student workers as "a.m. and p.m. girls" and said he wanted only "blondes with the big boobs" and "pretty girls" working for the team.

Miles also allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to a student and invited female students on trips to his condo. He was told he could no longer communicate with female students.

LSU fired Miles in 2016, and he was hired by Kansas before the 2019 season. He has led the Jayhawks to a 3-18 record.
