Kansas State Football Fans Make a Big Statement

Kansas State’s football program has endured a rough stretch, and the frustration was clear today before kickoff against UCF.

Fans at Bill Snyder Family Stadium painted a bold message across their chests, reading “MAKE KSU GREAT AGAIN !!” in large letters. The display checks out, given just how sloppy K-State has looked in 2025.

Kansas State entered Saturday under pressure. After several disappointing outings and growing criticism over coaching, development, and consistency, the fanbase wanted something tangible to show.

It wasn’t subtle, and it wasn’t exactly wrong either. Kansas State entered the matchup having dropped three of its last four, including a home loss to Army and a road loss to Arizona. Whatever preseason optimism surrounded this team has faded fast, and now the fanbase is clearly leaning into humor.

The sign wasn’t angry; it was what happens when your team is underperforming and everyone in the building knows it. Call it frustration, call it sarcasm, call it whatever you want. It was loud, it was bold, and it summed up the mood in Manhattan.

For a program that prides itself on toughness, identity, and execution, the 2025 version of Kansas State has looked like anything but. The offense has struggled to finish drives, the defense hasn’t forced enough stops, and the spark that carried this team to the Big 12 title in 2022 feels distant.

No one’s throwing in the towel, but when your fans start using their bodies to spell out the vibes, you’ve officially entered “do something” territory.

Maybe this is the moment the team flips the switch. Or maybe it’s just another snapshot of a season that’s not living up to expectations. Either way, the message is out there, literally, and Kansas State has some work to do to change what fans are spelling next weekend.
