Keanu Tanuvasa's Father Releases Key Detail in Transfer Saga

The Keanu Tanuvasa transfer saga has been all the talk between the two rival fanbases since it was announced. Since then, "Nu" has appeared on BYU platforms to try and explain the move, but for most fans, his actions have spoken louder than his words.

His father, Shawn Tanuvasa, has been a championing voice for the move and has attempted to smooth things over with the Utah faithful, but for the most part, it has only fueled the disdain more.

In his most recent post regarding the move, the former Utah defensive tackle's father put to bed any rumors of more NIL on BYU's behalf, and it didn't sit well with the fans in the replies.

"Just to clarify all the speculation- Utah offered enough NIL to keep Nu," Shawn Tanuvasa said. "I know it’s difficult to get but when the heavens speak- our family strives to follow quickly!"

While some fans said that this news helped ease their distress with the saga when it comes to Utah being competitive in the modern NIL market, most were unamused and saw it as even more of a reason for him to stay with the Utes.

However, NIL aside, it seems as if Tanuvasa's faith played the biggest role in his move which, while a tough pill to swallow, is a respectable motivator despite his actions prior to his portal entrance.

On the whole, this saga has only further stoked the rivalry flames, and with multiple storylines heading into this year's matchup far from settled, it is set to once again be a fireworks-filled affair.
