Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham continues to push forward with his long-term vision for the Sun Devils football program.

Dillingham began his coaching career at Arizona State in 2014 as an offensive assistant under Todd Graham. He quickly rose through the ranks with stops at Memphis, Auburn, and Florida State, with his most notable success coming as Oregon's offensive coordinator.

In 2022, Dillingham returned to Arizona State as head coach, becoming the youngest Power Five head coach at 32. He inherited a struggling program and has orchestrated a quick turnaround.

In a recent interview, Dillingham shared insights on the "next step" in ASU’s rebuilding process. His comments, posted by Blake's Take on X, highlighted his focus on strengthening the team culture, enhancing player development, and bolstering recruiting efforts.

Dillingham stressed the importance of getting an indoor practice facility connected to its team facility.

“Getting all of our football stuff here and connected to our facility is most definitely the next step for us,” Dillingham said.

Last year saw the Sun Devils secure a Big 12 championship, a bye in the college football playoffs and a Peach Bowl appearance. This comes directly after a 3-9 campaign for the Sun Devils.

The key now, according to Dillingham, is retaining top talent while attracting high-profile recruits who fit the program’s philosophy.

ASU fans have expressed optimism about the direction of the program, with many applauding Dillingham’s clear plan and transparency about the challenges of rebuilding a football program into a perennial powerhouse.
