A key player was removed from the Tennessee Vols' SEC injury report this week ahead of UT's matchup against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Redshirt freshman DeSean Bishop suffered a lower body injury in Tennessee's win against the Kentucky Wildcats earlier this month. Bishop, who was operating as the Vols' No. 2 running back behind junior Dylan Sampson, missed Tennessee's last three games (Mississippi State, Georgia, and UTEP) as a result of the injury.
Bishop wasn't listed on Tennessee's SEC injury report on Wednesday night, which means he'll be available for the game against Vanderbilt on Saturday.

True freshman running back Peyton Lewis saw his role increase with Bishop sidelined the last few weeks. It's unclear, however, if Bishop will immediately slot back into the No. 2 running back role for the Vols. Tennessee could choose to be careful with the Knoxville native, knowing that they'll need him in December if the Vols lock down a playoff spot with a win against the Commodores this weekend.
Bishop has totaled 372 rushing yards (6.9 yards per attempt) and three rushing touchdowns in eight games this season.
