Wednesday afternoon, West Virginia sent out another offer to a wide receiver in the transfer portal, reaching out to Cyrus Allen, formally of Louisiana Tech.
Allen has also heard from Baylor, Indiana, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Wisconsin.
In two seasons with the Bulldogs, Allen recorded 68 receptions for 1,278 yards (18.8 avg) and eight touchdowns. He made an immediate impact, appearing in ten games and making seven starts as a true freshman. At the end of the season, he was the team's third-leading in receiver in receptions, yards, touchdowns while leading the group with 22.7 yards per catch.
WVU head coach Neal Brown told reporters on Tuesday that he would like to bring in one proven receiver via the portal this offseason.
He has two years of eligibility.
