Miami Hurricanes tight end Elijah Arroyo was one of the biggest risers from the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl back in January.
Through the practice sessions, Arroyo showcased exceptional route-running abilities and reliable hands. He excelled in both in-line blocking assignments and slot receiver roles, demonstrating his potential. Analysts also noted his impressive catch radius and body control, which make him a reliable target.
As Arroyo prepares for the NFL, he has made the difficult decision to forgo participating in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine due to a knee injury sustained during the Senior Bowl. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that while Arroyo will miss the Combine, he is still expected to workout and be ready for his Pro Day on March 24.
Arroyo measured 6 feet 4.5 inches in height and weighed 251 pounds at the Senior Bowl check-in. He possesses a wingspan of 81.125 inches, an arm length of 33.125 inches and a hand size of 9.625 inches
Prior to the injury, Arroyo had a notable 2024 season with the Hurricanes, rebounding from a previous ACL tear to become a key contributor to Miami's top-ranked offense.
His combination of size, speed, and receiving ability have made him a coveted prospect, with some analysts projecting him as a potential Day 2 selection in the draft.
While missing the Combine is a setback, Arroyo's anticipated Pro Day performance will be crucial in solidifying his draft stock. Teams will closely monitor his recovery and readiness to assess his potential impact at the next level.
