Michigan football has officially set the date for this year’s Maize and Blue Spring Game, which will take place on Saturday, April 19. The spring practice schedule kicks off on Tuesday, March 18, running through Thursday, April 17, before the annual scrimmage wraps up the offseason slate.
As always, the biggest storyline heading into spring ball will be the quarterbacks. After a disastrous 2024 season at the position, the Wolverines are reloading in a big way, welcoming in veteran transfer Mikey Keene and five-star freshman Bryce Underwood. Keene, who brings starting experience at both UCF and Fresno State, is expected to provide immediate stability, while Underwood—the No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 class—brings game-changing talent and the highest upside of any Michigan QB recruit in years.

While all eyes will be on the quarterback battle, plenty of other position groups will be under the microscope this spring. With a new coaching staff, fresh schemes, and several key roster additions, Michigan is looking to bounce back in a big way in 2025. The spring game will be the first real look at what this next era of Wolverines football will bring.
