ESPN's College GameDay was in Ann Arbor on Saturday morning for the Michigan Wolverines' huge non-conference showdown with the Texas Longhorns.
Michigan fans arrived at the College GameDay set on Saturday morning armed with plenty of creative signs, most of them throwing some sort of shade at Texas.
One of the signs took aim at Longhorns backup quarterback Arch Manning.
The sign showed Manning's student ID (which he famously lost just after his arrival at Texas last year) with his full name and "student benchwarmer" written beside a photo of a trash can.
The creativity there is on point, but the message isn't quite accurate. Manning, who in his second season at Texas, has looked great in the opportunities he's received. It just so happens that Texas has a future NFL quarterback in Quinn Ewers in front of Manning (not a bad problem to have).
Of course, College GameDay signs aren't always rooted in logic. Michigan fans might find that out the hard way if Manning is forced into action during Saturday's game.
