This weekend, Michigan football is on the road for the second week in a row after downing Nebraska, 45-7, in Lincoln last Saturday. When the Wolverines eventually return home, it will be for a noon kickoff against the Indiana Hoosiers. Additionally, after breaking out the white tops and maize bottoms last weekend, we have a projection for the uniform combo that Michigan will roll into Minneapolis, Minnesota with this weekend.

Michigan football-Indiana kick time announced

Michigan football has only lost to Indiana once under Jim Harbaugh — during the COVID-19 year — however, Week 7’s game should not be a threat for the Wolverines whatsoever. Michigan, the nation’s No. 2 team, will kick off against the Hoosiers at noon on October 14th. The game will be on FOX — perhaps that weekend’s ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ game.

Projecting uniforms against Minnesota this weekend

Additionally, this weekend, Michigan football is slated to play its second road game of the 2023 season. Last weekend, we saw the traditional white tops and maize bottoms for the fifth time during Jim Harbaugh’s tenure in Ann Arbor; seeing as there is little chance that those uniforms return for the second weekend in a row, we expect to see a new road uniform debuted for the first time this fall.

The last two times that Michigan football faced Minnesota on the road under — in 2015 and 2020 — the Wolverines wore all-white uniforms. Both resulted in victories, including a blowout win during Week 1 of the COVID-19 season. Seeing as that’s the trend, not to mention all-white being the most popular Michigan football road uniform right now, those are what we expect to see this weekend when the Wolverines march into Minnesota in search of a 6th-straight victory.
