Michigan wide receiver Ronnie Bell was carted off the field during Saturday's game against Western Michigan with an apparent leg injury, interrupting what was an excellent start for the star senior.
Bell was hurt on a punt return and was unable to put any weight on his right leg as trainers carried him to the sideline.

Bell began the season in impressive fashion, scoring a 76-yard touchdown in the second quarter and reeling in a magnificent one-handed catch, which was called back for a penalty.

Bell led the Wolverines in receiving in both the 2019 and 2020 seasons. During the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign, he caught 26 passes for 401 yards and a touchdown in six games.
