The Texas A&M Aggies completed one of the best seasons in program history. They finished with an 11-2 record and made their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance in Year 2 under head coach Mike Elko.

The Aggies are looking to build an even stronger team for next season, which means they are focused on adding more wide receivers. Last year, they were led by two standout receivers, Mario Craver and KC Concepcion, both of whom recorded over 900 yards. Craver has announced that he will return to College Station, while Concepcion has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Texas A&M is emerging as a leading contender to sign Cam Coleman, a highly regarded former wide receiver from Auburn and the top-ranked player in the transfer portal. Additionally, they are also favored to acquire Isaiah Horton, a former wide receiver from Alabama.

According to Pete Nakos of On3, Horton is visiting Texas A&M this weekend, and they are the clear early team to beat in his recruitment. This follows his impressive performance last year in Tuscaloosa, where he achieved 511 yards and eight touchdowns. He's ranked as the No. 9 overall player and the No. 2-ranked wide receiver, according to 247Sports.

After a breakthrough season under Elko, Texas A&M is wasting little time in attacking roster needs for 2026. With Concepcion heading to the NFL Draft and Craver set to return, the Aggies are looking to pair experience with another high-upside weapon at wide receiver.

Landing Horton would be a major addition for an offense expected to take another step forward in Elko’s second full offseason. Combined with Texas A&M’s strong positioning for top portal target Coleman, the Aggies are making it clear they intend to build on their playoff debut and remain a national contender moving forward.
