#25 – December 30, 2024 vs. Iowa
Music City Bowl, Nashville – Mizzou 27, Iowa 24
In a wild Music City Bowl finish, No. 19 Missouri rallied late to defeat Iowa behind two 50+ yard field goals by redshirt freshman Blake Craig, including a bowl-record 56-yarder. The Tigers trailed 24-14 late in the third before Brady Cook designed a comeback drive capped with a Joshua Manning touchdown. Defensive stops, including a fourth-down stop by Corey Flagg Jr. and Daylan Carnell, sealed the win. Mizzou logged its second straight 10-win season and third consecutive bowl victory over a Big Ten team.
#24 – November 10, 2012 at Tennessee
4 Overtimes in Knoxville – Mizzou 51, Tennessee 48
In an insane four-overtime thriller at Neyland Stadium, the Tigers stormed back from a 14-point halftime deficit to stun the Vols at home. James Franklin shook off a rough first half to throw four touchdowns, including a fourth-and-12 game-tying dime to wideout Dorial Green-Beckham with just 47 seconds left. Kendial Lawrence added 153 rushing yards and two scores. The game ended with a fourth-down stop by safety Ian Simon, sealing Mizzou’s first SEC road win and handing Tennessee another brutal loss under head coach Derek Dooley—who, six years later, would join Missouri’s staff as offensive coordinator.
#23 – November 28, 2014 vs. Arkansas
SEC East Battle – Mizzou 21, Arkansas 14
After a sluggish first three quarters, Mizzou erupted late to clinch its second straight SEC East title. Trailing 14-6 in the fourth, the Tigers tied it with a 98-yard drive and trick-play two-point conversion. Marcus Murphy dashed in for the go-ahead touchdown before Markus Golden recovered a game-sealing fumble. Missouri once again proved its resilience under head coach Gary Pinkel, reaching double-digit wins and a return to Atlanta for their second SEC title shot in two years.
#22 – January 3, 2014 vs. Oklahoma State
Cotton Bowl Classic – Mizzou 41, Oklahoma State 31
In a battle of two former Big 12 rivals, Missouri ended its magical 12-win season with a Cotton Bowl victory over the Cowboys. Henry Josey ran for three touchdowns, including the game-winner with 3:08 left. Moments later, Shane Ray returned a Clint Chelf fumble 73 yards to seal it. The Tigers overcame two second-half fumbles by James Franklin and a late Cowboys lead to deliver Gary Pinkel his record 102nd win at Mizzou.
#21 – October 25, 2008 vs. Colorado
Colorado Shutout – Mizzou 58, Colorado 0
Homecoming turned into a showing of utter dominance as the Tigers thrashed the Colorado Buffaloes in a 58-0 shutout. Chase Daniel threw for 302 yards and five touchdowns, while tight end Chase Coffman broke the FBS career receptions record at the position. The defense smothered Colorado from start to finish, holding the Buffs to just 33 first-half yards in one of the most lopsided wins in Mizzou history. A much needed statement performance after back-to-back losses.
