Kavian Bryant, Rivals' No. 1 quarterback in the 2027 class, is weighing his options. Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes are in the mix for his commitment.

"I will be at Colorado today and tomorrow for an unofficial visit!!!! #GoBuffs" Bryant wrote Saturday on X.

Bryant is a five-star recruit and the No. 1 passer in Rivals' rankings, and according to their recruiting prediction machine, has a 98.1% chance of ending up playing for Colorado's Big 12 foe in the Texas Red Raiders.

"Provides excellent playmaking ability with his arm and his legs," 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks wrote in a March scouting report. "Dominant TXHSFB 3A dual-threat QB with enormous production through first two seasons. … Appears to be one of the higher-ceiling QB prospects in the 2027 cycle."

Bryant has helped Westwood (Tx.) High School to a 5-0 record this season. That includes a 469-yard passing effort during a 54-14 win over Mexia. Bryant racked up six total scores in that victory.

Aside from Colorado and Texas Tech, the other schools that Bryant appears to be interested in are Texas and Texas A&M. He also took a trip to see Mike Norvell's Florida State Seminoles last month.

Sanders and the Buffaloes are 2-2 entering their matchup with No. 25 BYU. Kaidon Salter leads the team with 565 passing yards and four touchdowns. Ryan Staub has 362 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Colorado has extended several other offers to Class of 2027 quarterbacks, including Trae Taylor (Nebraska commit), Peyton Houston (LSU) and Thaddeus Thatcher (Utah). Andre Adams is the only other uncommitted signal-caller that Sanders has offered.
