Nebraska has secured a new wide receiver for the 2025 season.

As a true freshman, Dylan Raiola has led the Cornhuskers to their first bowl game in eight years. He'll have another experienced target for his second season.

On Tuesday. Dane Key confirmed his commitment to Nebraska. He has one year of college eligibility remaining.

Key recorded 126 catches for 1,870 yards and 14 touchdowns in three seasons at Kentucky. The 6-foot-3 wideout from Lexington collected a career-high 715 yards as a junior on the strength of consecutive 100-yard games in September.

ESPN's Max Olson ranked Key as the No. 6 player in the transfer portal and second-best receiver behind Eric Singleton Jr. Key leaves Kentucky fifth on the program's all-time receiving leaderboard.

"Key has a big frame and great hands," ESPN analyst Billy Tucker wrote. "He's a polished route runner who understands coverage and how to create separation despite not being the fastest player on the field. His best asset is his ability to catch in traffic and come down with the contested ball away from his body. He wins with body control and a feel for the position more than explosive speed. Key is a good plug-and-play No. 1 or No. 2 receiver on Day 1 at his new school."

Raiola will hope that's the case for Key in Nebraska. The prized quarterback finished his first season with 2,595 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

Jahmal Banks led the Huskers with 508 receiving yards in his final year of collegiate eligibility. Isaiah Neyor could return for a fifth season, and Jacory Barney Jr. may assume a more significant role in 2025 after collecting 52 catches for 431 yards as a freshman.

Matt Rhule also recruited two four-star receiving recruits, Cortez Mills and Isaiah Mozee, in the 2025 class. Nebraska's 10 additions through the portal also includes Nyziah Hunter, who posted 578 yards and five touchdowns at California this season.

Nebraska will face Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl this Saturday afternoon.
