Nevada 4-Star LB Kenneth Goodwin feels Alabama offer is big for him
Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

Kenneth Goodwin picked up an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide during a recent visit to Tuscaloosa.

Goodwin attends Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and is a member of the 2026 recruiting class. Multiple recruiting sites have him currently listed as a four-star recruit and ranked among the top linebackers in his respective class.

The sophomore grew up a fan of the Tide which makes his offer from Alabama a special one.

“It means everything,” Goodwin told Touchdown Alabama. “I grew up an Alabama fan, so this is the biggest offer for me.”

Kalen DeBoer caught up with Goodwin during his visit. The pair had a ‘great conversation and ‘talked about a lot.’ according to the four-star prospect. Goodwin also liked what he saw from the other members of the new Alabama staff.

“I love the linebacker coaching hires,” Goodwin said.

At 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds, Goodwin has experience rushing from the edge and playing off the ball at linebacker. He also can play sideline to sideline with great backside pursuit and apparent high motor. The Nevada product feels his abiity to get after the football when ‘blitzing’ is among his biggest strengths.
