The Alabama Crimson Tide did it all under head coach Nick Saban.
In 17 years, Alabama won six national titles, routinely won double-digit games, and produced 47 first-round draft picks. Saban walked off into the sunset following the 2023 season, but he continues to leave his mark on the SEC power.
This weekend, with many of the top recruits in the country still taking official visits, Saban made an appearance at the University of Alabama's facilities in Tuscaloosa. On Friday, the legendary bench boss made headlines for taking time to meet with five-star mega prospect Anthony Jones.
Saban again clocked in, so to speak, on Saturday, finding his way onto the socials of four-star running back recruit Ezavier Crowell.
Current Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer has long stated his desire for his predecessor to stay involved with the program. Saban continues to demonstrate his worth to Alabama, with recruits considering his appearance a highlight of their visit.
Crowell headed to Alabama on Saturday for his final official visit and will make his college decision next Thursday. A fringe five-star recruit, Crowell is a top-five running back prospect in the country for the 2026 class, per 247Sports.
Alongside the Crimson Tide, the Alabama native holds strong interest from the Auburn Tigers, Texas Longhorns, and Georgia Bulldogs.
Despite reclassifying from the 2027 class to 2026, he is one of the most productive high school rushers in the state of Alabama. In 2023, he rushed for 1,737 yards and 25 touchdowns at Jackson High School. Last year, he topped those numbers, accumulating 1,964 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns.
