The 2024 College Football Playoff field is set, with an expanded 12-team field ready to battle it out for a national title.
During Week 0 of the 2024 season, Nick Saban and the ESPN "College GameDay" crew revealed their preseason College Football Playoff bracket predictions.
Saban had a few big misses on his bracket, but his National Championship prediction is still very much alive. The former Alabama head coach predicted Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs to take down Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks in the national title game.
Oregon claimed the No. 1 seed with an undefeated season and a Big Ten Championship Game victory. Georgia earned the No. 2 seed with an 11-2 record and an SEC Championship title.
As the top two seeds, Oregon and Georgia on a potential collision course in the National Championship Game.

Oregon earned the top seed in the expanded 12-team field with a Big Ten Championship win over the Penn State Nittany Lions. The No. 1 Ducks will matchup against the winner of No. 9 Tennessee vs. No. 8 Ohio State.
The first round of the College Football Playoff will take place on Dec. 20 and 21.
