Notre Dame predicted to land high upside defender from elite football pipeline that the Fighting Irish are starting to tap into

Not only would Hill be a great grab for Mickens and the secondary, but it would also be a tremendous win in one of the very best high school programs when it comes to developing great football players. Linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa also started at St. John Bosco, and that is a pipeline that the Irish want to tap into more. Hill could be another big part of that pathway being created. 

Hill is considered a near-consensus four-star player by each of the major recruiting platforms. The only exception is the Rivals ranking that has him pegged as a three-star recruit. On the 247 Sports ranking, Hill is considered to be the No. 144 overall player, the No. 16 cornerback, and the No. 13 player in the state of California. 

A long list of impressive programs has been pursuing Hill heavily. Some of his top offers include the Fighting Irish, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Michigan, Oregon, Florida, USC, Miami, Texas A&M, Florida State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Washington, Arizona State, Maryland, Arizona, UCLA, and Purdue among several others. 

The 6-2, 170-pound defensive back has the requisite skill set to play either cornerback or safety on the college level. In five games as a junior, Hill has managed to collect four interceptions and has broken up three more passes. Hill played previously at Inglewood High School but opted to transfer to St. John Bosco this offseason. It has been a seamless transition for the talented defender so far.
