The Auburn Tigers are really pushing for one of the top recruits in the 2026 recruiting class.

Bralan Womack is one of the top recruits who has yet to commit in his class. He is the top safety recruit in the country and the No. 15 overall recruit, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Womack is set to commit on August 21 and has some top programs going after him, including the Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas A&M Aggies, Florida Gators, and the SEC's Auburn Tigers.

According to On3/Rivals' Steve Wiltfong, he would lean towards Auburn as the favorite for Womack.

"There is a lot of confidence about Womack’s recruitment around The Plains, and I don’t get the same sense from Texas A&M and Ohio State. Florida has been having good conversations with the Womack camp, but I’d lean toward Auburn based on the intel right now," Wiltfong wrote, via On3/Rivals.

Womack would instantly become Auburn's top recruit for the 2026 recruiting class. The Tigers don't have any five-star recruits in the class and have the No. 54 overall class in the country, per 247Sports.

The Tigers have 11 days to try and secure Womack's commitment before he makes a decision about his future. A commitment would be a big boost for head coach Hugh Freeze going into the 2025 season.

Auburn will open the season against Baylor out of the Big 12 on August 29. Kickoff will be at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
