National Signing Day sometimes feels like national recruiting flip day, and that's certainly how it had to have felt for Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks. Lanning and his staff secured two of the biggest commitments of National Signing Day, and they dug into Ohio State and Cal's pockets to do it.
Cornerback Na'eem Offord, a five-star recruit from Birmingham, Alabama, flipped his commitment from OSU to Oregon, signing on the dotted line with the Ducks at the last moment.

Offord is a massive recruit for Oregon. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 2 cornerback in the country and the No. 11 player overall.
Not to be outshined, elite quarterback recruit Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, also flipped to Oregon on National Signing Day. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as a four-star and the No. 9 quarterback in the the country, but he's ranked as a five-star recruit by On3.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound quarterback had been committed to California since July, but it sounds like an official visit to Oregon in October and it sounds like that made a huge impact on him.
"But a moment, I probably say was my favorite was at the end of the game they went into the locker room after the win. Coach Lanning was giving a speech and just seeing everyone engaged, everyone fired up, everyone pumped up. That was really just a great moment for me to experience," Sagapolutele told On3 at the time.
Multiple five-star recruits ended up choosing Lanning and the Ducks in 2025, which allowed him to secure the No. 4 ranked recruiting class in the country.
