ESPN personality and former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee has become one of the biggest names in the media world.

McAfee, 38, has experienced a notable rise to stardom following the end of his NFL career in 2016. He had stints at Barstool (2016-18) and Fox Sports (2018-19), as well as a few other notable entities, before he and his podcast "The Pat McAfee Show," which has nearly three million subscribers, made its way to ESPN.

McAfee is now a beloved character on ESPN's "College GameDay," and is also known for interviewing some of the biggest names in sports on his show, which streams on YouTube as well as airing across ESPN platforms.

Although McAfee is known for his exuberant energy and larger-than-life persona, he is just like the rest of us in the sense that he has a personal life outside of work.

On Thursday, McAfee took to Instagram to commemorate the anniversary of his parents, Sally and Timothy.

"CONGRATS TO MY PARENTS," McAfee wrote on Instagram. "43 years of marriage today. THANK YOU BOTH FOR EVERYTHING."

It has been a big few weeks for the McAfee family to say the least. Aside from his parents' anniversary, McAfee was inducted into the West Virginia Sports Hall of Fame for his tremendous college career with the Mountaineers.

Professionally, ESPN announced on Thursday that the "Pat McAfee Show" saw a 29% increase in viewership in September.

While McAfee will presumably take some time to celebrate with his family, he is also set to hit the road soon, as he and "College GameDay" will be heading to Eugene for the top 10 clash between No. 10 Indiana and No. 3 Oregon.

McAfee simply never stops, but that is also one of the main reasons he has become such a star.
