ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum recently spoke on the current state of rankings ahead of Week 2.
After several ranked programs debuted their season, Finebaum shared his thoughts on the top teams in the nation, focusing on the SEC.
Finebaum sat down with Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Austin Simmons, who entered the season as the starter for the SEC team. Simmons took over for Jaxson Dart and he departed for the NFL, joining the New York Giants.
When speaking with Simmons, Finebaum mentioned that he envies Simmons. The former blue-chip recruit graduated from Ole Miss at 19 years old and now has just two classes while serving as the Rebels' starter.
"I know it's difficult for a lot of players because they're going studying," Finebaum said. "You have already graduated. Which I envy you. I cannot imagine being in that town, on that campus, with a degree already in my back pocket."
What do you do in Oxford once you already graduated at 19?

Austin Simmons committed to the Ole Miss Rebels as the No. 19 quarterback and the No. 292 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.
Simmons chose Ole Miss over Florida, Auburn, Arkansas and several other powerhouse programs.
He was also featured on the Rebels' baseball team, committing to Ole Miss as a two-sport athlete.
In Week 1 of the college football season, Austin Simmons posted three touchdowns and 341 yards with a 64.5 completion percentage.
The Ole Miss Rebels defeated Georgia State 63-7. After the win over Georgia State, Ole Miss will play the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 2.
