The Pop-Tarts Bowl game between Kansas State and North Carolina State went viral on social media for reasons much sweeter than football.

Kansas State outlasted NC State 28-19 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. But what captivated fans watching the game were the various Pop-Tarts-related hijinks that went on throughout the game.

The Pop-Tarts mascot’s entrance out of a giant toaster was iconic enough to garner millions of views on X. One fan even jokingly called the moment “the cultural epicenter of college football.”

Once the celebration died down and the confetti had stopped falling, the Pop-Tarts mascot ended the night with a fitting finish. It got toasted into an actual edible Pop-Tart, which the Kansas State players were able to indulge in.

Fans should not have expected anything less after the bowl game’s trophy was revealed with real edible Pop-Tarts in it.

This is the Pop-Tarts Bowl mascot’s world and we’re just living in it, folks.
