Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

He won't be picked before Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, but he can be a late first-rounder or a second-rounder. He helped Texas get to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff this past season before losing to Ohio State.

Ewers also got Texas to the semifinals of the CFP during the 2023 season but lost to Washington. Ewers finished the 2024 season with 3,472 yards through the air, 31 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

The quarterbacks will arrive at the NFL Combine on Tuesday since it runs all week. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Ewers is expected to throw in Indianapolis.

"Another quarterback I can tell you will throw is Texas' Quinn Ewers. I am told he is fully recovered now from a torn oblique and he played with basically this entire season," Pelissero said. "It happened in the Michigan game, it got worse over the course of time, but he is healthy now, (and) his weight is up to about 215 pounds. Ewers has actually been working down in Texas with former Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy, who I talked to on the phone yesterday."

This week will be Ewers's big chance to show every NFL team what he can do. They'll see his arm, mechanics, work in the pocket, and so much more.

If he has a good week, he could climb some draft boards pretty significantly. The draft is only two months away so the race is on.

Ewers started at Texas for three seasons, compiling 9,128 passing yards, 68 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions. Let's see what he can do when he throws during the NFL Combine this week.
