Quinn Ewers making up for lost NIL with major Panini deal, per report
Aaron E. Martinez/USA T

The NIL payday for Quinn Ewers would've been significant, if he transferred to the University of Miami this year. Instead, he took a gamble in the 2025 NFL Draft and ended up in the same city without a sizable deal.

However, Ewers is making up for the loss. He announced on Friday that he signed an exclusive autograph trading card deal with Panini America. According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the arrangement is worth $3 million. Just shy of the $4 million being offered by 'The U' for his final year of eligibility.

The former Texas QB was a seventh-round pick (231st overall) for the Miami Dolphins. His four-year contract pays out a total of $4.3 million over four years. It's crazy to think one year in college for some is equivalent to an entire rookie contract over four years in the NFL. No wonder why they say stay in school.

Ewers was criticized for leaving early and not wanting to transfer. But, it appears he's on his way towards making up for the loss.
