What do coaches do with time off? Recruit!

National early signing date is Wednesday, Dec. 20 meaning the Alabama staff has just a few weeks left until wrapping up the majority of the 2024 class. The staff hit the road for in-person visits with most of their already committed players. Several of the members of the class of 2024 are planning to early-enroll and will take part in bowl practice as well.

One note for the Crimson Tide, 5-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton committed to Colorado on Thursday over several schools including Alabama.

Tide-Bits

Alabama wide receiver commit Amari Jefferson was named Tennessee's Mr. Football for 2023 after posting a 74 catch, 1401 yard and 20 touchdown season for the Baylor Red Raiders.

Alabama class of 2025 wide receiver Ryan Williams posted on his Twitter that he's going to make an announcement. He apparently will make some sort an announcement on Dec. 10. Will he enroll early with the Crimson Tide, or flip his commitment to Auburn?

Alabama commits Red Morgan and Isaia Faga won the Class 7A state championship with Central Phenix City over Thompson on Wednesday.

Saban on the Road

Nick Saban was at Liberty North visiting uncommitted 4-star edge rusher Jayshawn Ross in Kansas City, MO., on Tuesday making his pitch to the 6-4 athlete.

Saban was in Brookwood, Ala., visiting committed 2024 4-star offensive lineman William Sanders on Thursday. Sanders is expected to take an official visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend and then enroll early to help the Tide with Rose Bowl practice.

Saban was with tight end's coach Joe Cox visiting committed 3-star tight end Jay Lindsey in Butler, Ala. on Wednesday as he ensures his 2024 class is set.

Saban was in Lindale, Tx., on Wednesday visiting committed 4-star lineman Casey Poe and his family. Poe is considered the top interior offensive lineman in this class and a key member of Alabama's 2024 class.

Aeryn Hampton is committed to Texas, but Saban spent time visiting him on Wednesday in Daingerfield anyways. The 4-star cornerback/wide receiver was in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama and LSU game and still doesn't quite seem settled.

Saban and defensive line coach Freddie Roach took the short drive to Birmingham on Tuesday to visit committed 4-star defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman. Beaman has been committed to the Tide for ages and will enroll early.

Saban had a wildly busy Wednesday as he also spent time with Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. in Gadsden, Ala. Kirkpatrick Jr., a committed 3-star safety, will be Saban's first legacy prospect as he coached his father at the Capstone as well.
