High school recruiting always heats up during the spring, which has been the case for Class of 2027 wide receiver Donovan McNabb Jr. The son of former Syracuse and NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb picked up recent offers from Washington, Iowa, Kansas and UNLV which raised his overall total to 16.

Most of McNabb’s offers have come in 2025, including a huge one from his father’s alma mater in March. No matter what other offers come his way in the coming months and years, it is a safe assumption that the Orange will be a major player, especially if Head Coach Fran Brown is still leading the way.

McNabb, who plays his high school football at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, Arizona, finished his sophomore season with nine receptions for 83 yards and one touchdown. He also had three carries for 58 yards and returned two kickoffs for 25 yards.

Brophy College Prep is also the home of Class of 2026 wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, son of NFL Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald, who has official visits scheduled this spring to UCLA, Clemson, Stanford, Notre Dame and North Carolina. A father-son flag football game at Brophy would be must-watch television.
