Recruiting has never been a problem for USC or head coach Lincoln Riley. This is continued on Wednesday night the commitment of yet another Class of 2027 4-star.
Cornerback Danny Lang, 5-foot-11 and 160-pounds, chose the Trojans over Oregon and Auburn. USC was seen as the favorite leading up to his decision day. The announcement came a couple of weeks after his most recent visit to USC. The local four-star picked up his offer from the Trojans almost two years ago and has been a frequent visitor to campus since then.
This gives USC eight Class of 2027 commitments, with all of them coming from California. Commitment Aaryn Washington transferred to IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida), but played at Lang’s high school, Mater Dei, prior to that.
At Mater Dei, Lang has impressed during his last two seasons, when he has totaled 64 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 13 pass breakups, two interceptions and three forced fumbles.
