When it comes to greatness in sports, it is never a perfect process by any means. In fact, most of the time greatness occurs it's because there was some sort of adversity prior.
Stanford had two legends on its campus at the same time in Richard Sherman and head coach Jim Harbaugh. Sherman went on to become one of the best corners the sport has seen in the NFL, while Harbaugh had a successful stint in the NFL before ending up becoming the head coach at Michigan where he has since led them to a title appearance this season.
Sherman has never been shy about letting people know what he thinks, and on a recent episode of Undisputed, he revealed that during his time in Palo Alto, he and Harbaugh had their fair share of disagreements they worked through.
Sherman explained that it was his competitive nature that helped lead to one disagreement in particular, as during a game in which Stanford was down by a significant margin, the offense wasn't as aggressive as he felt they needed to be.

While that was the lone story he shared, he did end his story with the fact that they had a "few issues". Obviously things worked out in the end for both parties, but being a fly on the wall for a few of those Harbaugh-coached teams would have been fascinating.
