Senior Defensive Back Chris Edmonds Declares for NFL Draft
Joe Rondone/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Defensive Back Chris Edmonds announced on Twitter that he will declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Edmonds, a senior defensive back, was a Samford University transfer. He was First Team All-SoCon at Samford and was one of the best ball hawks in the country with four INTs. He also was a finalist for best defensive player in FCS during his time there.

Since coming to ASU, it’s been a different story. Edmonds finished with 71 tackles but did not record a single interception this season. Edmonds has the talent to be in the NFL. Whether he gets drafted remains a huge question mark. Edmonds did a fantastic job in one year of Dillingham’s system and will be looking to continue that on Sundays.

He joins Dashaun Mallory and Joey Ramos as players who have declared for the NFL Draft from Arizona State.
