Shedeur Sanders Makes $500K Purchase After Signing NFL Contract

On Sunday, "Well Off Media," a YouTube channel run by Deion Sanders Jr., dropped a video showing Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders inspecting a brand-new, custom-wrapped Rolls-Royce at his family’s Texas estate.

The vehicle rolled off a flatbed into the driveway as Sanders watched via video call.

Industry estimates place the base price of a Rolls-Royce Phantom well above $500,000, immediately making it one of the priciest rookie purchases in recent memory.

This comes just one week after Sanders signed his rookie deal, reported at four years and $4.6 million, including a $446,553 signing bonus and an average annual salary of roughly $1.16 million.

That figure, while modest by first-round standards, still represents a life-changing sum, especially when combined with his booming Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) portfolio, which was valued at over $5 million thanks to endorsements with Nike, Gatorade, Google, Beats by Dre and Urban Outfitters.

The 23-year-old quarterback is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion "Prime Time" Sanders and made his name first at Jackson State and then at Colorado.

After a standout freshman season in the SWAC, earning the Jerry Rice Award as most outstanding freshman in 2021 and SWAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2022, he transferred to Colorado when his father took the head coaching job in 2023.

There, he won the prestigious Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2024, capping a campaign that included First-team All-Big 12 honors and an AP Second-team All-American nod.

Sheuder Sanders now enters one of the NFL’s most crowded quarterback rooms.

With veteran Deshaun Watson rehabbing an Achilles injury and veterans Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel vying for reps, the Browns’ QB battle figures to be a hot topic throughout summer workouts and into training camp.
