There isn't a more polarizing prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft than Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders had a ton of success at Colorado, throwing for 7,364 yards and 64 touchdowns in a two-year stretch. He's been linked to a handful of NFL teams over the past few months, with the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he's not a lock to be a first-round pick.

If the Steelers don't pull the trigger on Shedeur with the No. 21 overall pick, he could slide into Day 2 of the draft.

"We are on a collision course to where he could go down to No. 21 and the Pittsburgh Steelers," ESPN's Adam Schefter said. "And the Steelers then would then have a decision to make here."

For now, Shedeur and his family are trying their best to enjoy this moment.

Shedeur's mother, Pilar Sanders, has been soaking up the spotlight this Thursday.

An hour before the draft officially started, Shedeur's mother posted a video of her on Instagram along with this caption: "Draft Night!"

It's safe to say Pilar is excited for her son.

Pilar, a wellness creator, was married to Deion Sanders for over a decade before their divorce in 2013.

Earlier this month, Pilar was in Boulder to watch Shedeur's jersey number get retired by Colorado.

"What an honor and a privilege to have spent two years in Boulder, Colorado with them, it’s been amazing and to see these sites everyday nothing short of Fun, Gratitude and High Vibes," she wrote on Instagram.

There's no doubt Shedeur's family members will be happy for him regardless of where he ends up in the draft.

Which team will pick Shedeur and bank on him becoming its starter? That remains the question.

The NFL Draft is being televised on ESPN and ABC.
