Tennessee Vols running back DeSean Bishop suffered an injury in UT's 34-31 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.
In the second half, Bishop went down awkwardly due to a hip-drop tackle (which isn't illegal in college football). The Knoxville native didn't return to the game.
Bishop rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on just 14 carries before the injury.
Vols head coach Josh Heupel was asked about Bishop's status after the game.
Heupel revealed that Bishop's injury isn't expected to be a longterm deal.
“I don’t think it is a longterm deal here at all," said Heupel when asked about Bishop.
DeSean Bishop walked under his own power following Tennessee's win over Arkansas.

That's certainly good news for the Vols. Bishop is a dynamic player and he's one of the main reasons that Tennessee got a win on Saturday.
