The mom of Tennessee Vols starting quarterback Joey Aguilar went viral on Saturday afternoon for her reaction to her son running through the T at Neyland Stadium for the first time.
Aguilar, who won the starting quarterback job during fall camp over true freshman George MacIntyre and redshirt freshman Jake Merklinger, led the Vols to a 45-26 win against Syracuse in last weekend's season-opener in Atlanta.
Saturday's game against East Tennessee State was Aguilar's first home start for Tennessee.
Aguilar's mom, Lydia, was moved to tears after seeing her son take the field for the first time in Knoxville as a Vol.

"It's so overwhelmingly awesome....these people (Vols fans) are so awesome....you guys are all great, Vol nation," said Lydia of experiencing Neyland Stadium for the first time.
Aguilar and Vols sophomore wide receiver Mike Matthews connected for an impressive 53-yard touchdown in the first half against ETSU.

Those are the kind of plays that Vols fans are hoping to see all season from that duo.
