Offensive coordinator Collin Klein has the weapons to work with.
Texas A&M is always loaded with speed and great skill parts, but with just a few key portal signings … boom. The offense that wasn’t all that bad last year should be more explosive and also more consistent.
Overall, the attack finished around the middle of the SEC in almost every area, but it didn’t have a big turnover problem, the line had a decent run, and the program found its quarterback.

Texas A&M Defense Breakdown
Season Prediction, Win Total, Keys to Season
- Haynes King, Zach Calzada, Conner Weigman, Max Johnson, Jaylen Henderson - Texas A&M has had some terrific college football quarterbacks since the end of the Kellen Mond era in 2020. But Marcel Reed should be The Guy over the next few years after building his way up after taking over early last season.
He’s a playmaker who hit 61% of his passes, kept the picks in the regular season to a minimum, and he’s one of the team’s most dangerous runners. Jacob Zeno (UAB) is a nice insurance policy backup to have if it’s not Miles O’Neill.
- Reed needed receivers after Noah Thomas left for Georgia, and A&M went out and upgraded. Mario Craver (Mississippi State) is a dangerous-quick deep threat who averaged close to 22 yards per catch last season. Terry Bussey is a holdover from last year with elite quickness, and Jonah Wilson (Houston) is a blazer, but the star of the show should be on the inside.
KC Concepcion (NC State) was one of the top receivers in the portal with 124 catches for close to 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns, along with 356 rushing yards and two scores, in his first two seasons.
Texas transfer Amari Niblack and junior Theo Melin Ohrstrom will share the tight end duties. Niblack was a deep threat option for Alabama, but didn’t do much for the Longhorns last year.
- All five starters should be back on a loaded line with experience to go along with the talent. 6-7, 320-pound left tackle Trey Zuhn III has NFL upside, but 6-6, 320-pound guard Chase Bisontis has more pro potential.
330-pound guard Ar’maj Reed-Adams is a future NFL starter, and Damatreious Crownover is back at right tackle. The center spot is fine, but it’ll be a bit of a fall camp fight between the bigger starter Kolinu’u Faaiu and banged-up technician Mark Nabou Jr.
- The offense should have its star runner back. Le’Veon Moss was on a tear, running for 765 yards and ten scores before getting knocked out for the year with a leg injury.
Moss still has to get healthy, and so does the ultra-talented Reuben Owens - he only played in two games last year - so the spotlight might be on Amari Daniels. He took over when Moss went down, finishing second on the team with 661 yards and eight scores.
