The University of Texas recruiting class for 2025 has been stellar. According to most recruiting websites, they are ranked as having the sixth-best 2025 class.
The Longhorns’ 2025 class contains three five-star recruits and eight 4-star prospects.
Sarkisian and The Longhorns seem to have righted the ship after having some rocky moments during the summer on the recruiting front.
They recently have picked up commitments from five-star athlete, Jonah Williams, and four-star defensive lineman, Myron Charles, who flipped from FSU.
With Michael Terry III being one of the biggest remaining targets for Texas in the 2025 class, look out for them to continue to send the house his way. Terry is right in Texas’ backyard. The five-star athlete lives in San Antonio, only an hour and a half away from Austin.
Terry is a swiss-army knife. He excels at just about any position on defense and is stellar as a receiver, running back and at quarterback. Terry stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 217 pounds. He has very lanky arms and a solid base. His agility is above par and he has good hands as a pass catcher.
While he may be tall for a running back, he knows how to get low and level his pads. Terry packs a punch in his frame and regularly runs over defenders. He can kick his speed into high gear and accelerate off of the handoff quickly.
Terry reminds me of a bulky Deebo Samuel in his versatility. Sarkisian is known for his creativity, so expect Terry to be used uniquely if he commits. Longhorn fans should be excited about the possibility of landing this coveted prospect.
