Texas Longhorns redshirt sophomore quarterback Arch Manning fulfilled his promise to wide receiver Ryan Wingo.

Manning, 21, promised his teammate two months ago that he would attend St. Louis University High School in Missouri for a summer football camp, which he did over the weekend alongside fellow Longhorns Colin Simmons, DeAndre Moore Jr. and Aaron Butler. In a photo posted to X, the Texas quarterback is seen throwing the school's Horns Up celebration alongside two of the campers, which Wingo couldn’t get enough of.

“My QB good in any hood,” the post's caption reads. “Nah fr ,” Wingo wrote in response.

Manning is expected to become the Longhorns' starting quarterback for this upcoming season. He could perform well in Texas under head coach Steve Sarkisian and with a wide receiver room composed of Wingo, Rett Andersen, Reece Beauchamp, Ty Boatright, Isaiah Bond and Bryce Chambers.

Manning has already formed a solid relationship with Wingo, who is a rising sophomore. Wingo could be his No. 1 target after recording 29 receptions for 472 yards and two touchdowns last season.

Meanwhile, Manning appeared in 10 outings for the Longhorns and watched his team win seven. He finished his redshirt freshman campaign by throwing for 939 yards and nine touchdowns with two interceptions.

Texas went 13-3 last season with former starting quarterback Quinn Ewers under center. They were eliminated in the semifinals of the College Football playoffs by the Ohio State Buckeyes, 28-14, on Jan. 10.

However, they will seek revenge when they take on the Ryan Day-led Buckeyes in the regular-season opener on Aug. 30 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
