Tight end Amari Niblack is undoubtedly hoping that his senior year will be the one in which he breaks out, but he's no longer going to be hoping for that breakout to come with the Texas Longhorns.
Niblack hit the transfer portal in mid-January, and it did not take long for him to make a decision. He's still going to play football in Texas and in the SEC, but the Clearwater, Florida native will be playing his senior season for the Texas A&M Aggies.
This is according to On3:

Niblack was a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, ranked as the No. 4 athlete recruit in the nation. He committed to Nick Saban and Alabama out of Lakewood High School and in his second season with the Tide, he caught 20 passes for 237 yards and four touchdowns.
He transferred to Texas when Saban retired but wasn't able to build on his good 2023 season. Niblack caught just five catches for 33 yards with no touchdowns and never established any footing with the Longhorns.
He'll now look to get that momentum back at Texas A&M.
