In addition to being the top-ranked quarterback for Rivals, he is the third-ranked quarterback recruit in the country in 247Sports' composite rankings. He is the top-ranked recruit in his home state (Florida) and the No. 13 overall recruit in the nation.
The Longhorns have the ninth-best recruiting class in the country, per 247Sports. They have 18 commits in their 2026 recruiting class, including two five-star recruits.
Bell could be the Longhorns' quarterback of the future once he arrives after the 2025 college football season. Arch Manning will be the quarterback for the upcoming season and will enter the 2026 NFL Draft if he shows out.
Texas will open the 2025 season with a massive test on August 30. The Longhorns will take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in a rematch of last season's Cotton Bowl in Columbus. The Buckeyes won that game by 14 points, 28-14, before going on to win the national title over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Kickoff will be at Noon ET.
