Even though it's Christmas Eve, there's still a bowl game on the college football schedule.

South Florida will play San Jose State in the Hawai'i Bowl at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday. South Florida finished the 2024 regular season with a 6-6 record while San Jose State went 7-5.

The Bulls (South Florida) had three different quarterbacks play during the season. Bryce Archie led the way with 1,679 yards through the air, nine touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Kelley Joiner led the team in rushing with 766 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Spartans (San Jose State) mainly played two quarterbacks during the season. Waker Eget compiled 2,224 yards through the air with 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions, while Emmett Brown had 1,621 yards through the air with 16 touchdowns and only five interceptions.

Running back Floyd Chalk IV compiled 661 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground since he was their leading rusher.

This should be a competitive game between teams with similar records.

There will be no bowl games on Wednesday since that is Christmas Day but bowl season will resume on Thursday with three matchups. The Pittsburgh Panthers will play the Toledo Rockets in the GameAbove Sports Bowl while the Rutgers Scarlet Knights will play the Kansas State Wildcats in the Rate Bowl.

Finally, the Arkansas State Red Wolves will play the Bowling Green Falcons in the 68 Ventures Bowl.

Bowl season is one of the best times of the year, especially around the holidays. It's the perfect time to sit around on your couch and just watch college football.
