This stat unveils Keon Sabb as a great move for Alabama’s secondary from transfer portal

The University of Alabama football program added a marquee defensive back to its secondary.

Keon Sabb, a New Jersey native, chose the Crimson Tide from the NCAA transfer portal after spending two seasons at Michigan.

He assisted the Wolverines to a Big Ten Championship and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023.

Sabb collected 28 tackles, five pass breakups, and two interceptions in 14 games last year. The talented safety returned an interception for a touchdown for the Wolverines, but is looking forward to adding veteran experience to a young defensive backfield in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Sabb was graded as one of the top-10 transfer safeties in college football, per Pro Football Focus.
