Three Linemen Commit to Country Roads Trust, Remain at WVU
USA TODAY Sports

Over the last few days, the West Virginia football program has lost a handful of pieces to the transfer portal, as expected.

Tuesday afternoon, it was announced that offensive linemen Johnny Williams IV, Nick Malone, and Nick Krahe have committed to Country Roads Trust and will remain in the program for the 2024 season.

Malone was a former walk-on who has developed into a strong rotational player up front, playing in multiple spots. With his return, he should be in position to battle for the starting right tackle job.

Johnny Williams IV and Nick Krahe are two true freshmen whom the staff are extremely high on. They will be in the two-deep next year with Williams vying for a starting spot.

Others that have committed to the Trust:

OL Wyatt Milum

OL Brandon Yates

OL Tomas Rimac

WR Rodney Gallagher III

WR Traylon Ray

WR Preston Fox

LB Josiah Trotter

Others who announced they will remain at WVU:

QB Garrett Greene

RB Jahiem White
