It’s been a hectic and remarkable month for former Colorado Buffaloes two-way superstar Travis Hunter.

It began with Hunter being selected No. 2 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars, followed by graduating with a degree from the University of Colorado. Now, before officially beginning his NFL career in a few months, he’s diving into major business ventures.

On Friday evening, Hunter announced via a joint Instagram post with Panini America that he has partnered with the sports trading card company. He also unveiled the first episode of "Rated Rookie," a behind-the-scenes look at his NFL draft journey and the story leading up to his lifelong dream of being selected.

In addition, his highly anticipated rookie card will be released soon by Panini—expected to generate significant buzz in what is shaping up to be a very competitive rookie card market. As one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2025 class, Hunter’s cards will likely be in high demand.

"Excited to share my first episode of Rated Rookie," Hunter wrote. "During this process Panini has worked with me following along through my journey at Combine to NFL Draft Night. Thank you @paniniamerica for helping me tell my story! I can’t wait to see my first NFL trading cards! #RatedRookie."

The Jaguars traded up from No. 5 to No. 2 to select Hunter, believing he’s a generational talent who can be the cornerstone of their franchise under first-year head coach Liam Coen this season.

Throughout the pre-draft process, Hunter made it clear that he wants to play both wide receiver and cornerback. While some scouts and coaches had concerns about this dual-role request, it seems Jacksonville is fully committed to utilizing Hunter's versatility and allowing him to play both positions.

Rumor has it that Hunter will primarily start as a wide receiver this offseason but will gradually transition to defensive back over the summer. He will be in meetings for both positional groups.
