After taking home the Heisman, Colorado Buffaloes receiver and cornerback, Travis Hunter has been in multiple 2025 NFL mock drafts. On Friday, he was mentioned in another.

The 33rd Team projected Hunter to join Trevor Lawrence with the Jacksonville Jaguars on X. The projection had Hunter going third overall to the Jaguars. Lawrence is on a five-year $275 million contract ending in 2031, per Spotrac

Jacksonville took Lawrence in the 2021 NFL draft after playing for Clemson from 2018-20. Lawrence made the Pro Bowl in 2022 after throwing for 4,113 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

He has 13,815 career passing yards, 69 touchdowns, and 46 interceptions since joining the NFL in 2021.

Hunter became the second Colorado player to win the Heisman, joining 1994 winner and running back Rashaan Salaam. Hunter leads Colorado with 1,152 receiving yards and the Big 12 with 14 receiving touchdowns.

Defensively, Hunter has 32 total tackles, four interceptions, 11 pass deflections and one forced fumble.

For Lawrence, it has not been an easy season by any means. He first injured his AC Joint in his non-throwing shoulder against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9.

The injury kept Lawrence out of Jacksonville's next two games as he returned to action against the Houston Texans in Week 13. Lawrence then suffered a concussion after taking a hit from Texans' linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.

Lawrence was placed in concussion protocol for the next two games before the Jaguars decided to put the quarterback on IR for the remainder of the season so he could begin surgery to repair the AC Joint early.

Since Lawrence's injuries, backup Mac Jones has been under center for the Jaguars. Lawrence ended the season with 2,045 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

The 2025 NFL draft is in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24-26. Hunter and No. 23 Colorado end their season against No. 17 BYU in the Alamo Bowl. Kickoff is Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
