Travis Hunter heard his name called early in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft after the Jacksonville Jaguars traded up and drafted him with the No. 2 overall pick in the selection process.

There was a time when Hunter and his Colorado quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, were considered two of the top prospects in the 2025 NFL draft class. But for whatever reason, Sanders slid way down in the draft order — going unselected through the first four rounds.

On Saturday afternoon, the Cleveland Browns finally gave Sanders his NFL landing spot — taking him with their No. 144 overall pick in the fifth round.

Hunter was filmed as his friend and former teammate heard his named called on the stage in Green Bay. The superstar wide receiver/cornerback's reaction is going viral on social media.

"Yes sir! My boy Shedeur to the Browns. Let's get it!" Hunter said in the clip.

"Different teams, same brotherhood," the Colorado football account wrote on X.

"Ride or die. Respect," one fan wrote.

"That’s a true friend always being happy for the other person," another said.

"Browns missed the opportunity to DRAFT BOTH. It would have been too LEGENDARY!" another added.

Sanders is the Browns' second quarterback pick of the 2025 NFL draft. In Round 3, the franchise selected Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel. The Cleveland quarterback room now consists of Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Gabriel and Sanders.

This friendship support goes both way. When Hunter went No. 2 overall to the Jaguars on Thursday night, Sanders was clearly thrilled for his former teammate.

Sanders will now look to prove himself as a viable option for the Browns in their busy quarterback room.
