Earlier this season the Georgia Bulldogs jumped out to a 23-0 lead over the Texas Longhorns en route to a 30-15 win over Steve Sarkisian's program - the only loss Texas suffered this season.
Fast forward a few months and the complete opposite is happening. Well, kind of.
In its first ever SEC title game, Texas has dominated the Bulldogs with a 20-10 minutes of possession lead and a 260-54 yards gained advantage. Unfortunately for the Longhorns, that time of possession and ridiculous amount of offensive pressure hasn't yielded points as they lead just 6-3 at halftime.
While that's good news for the Bulldogs, they did receive some potentially devastating news. Star quarterback Carson Beck appeared to suffer an injury to his throwing arm on the final play of the first half.
While attempting a Hail Mary, Beck wound up to heave the ball down the field, but a Texas defender put significant pressure on his throwing arm. The quarterback crumpled to the ground in pain, before eventually walking off under his own power.
As the Georgia Bulldogs made their way back into the locker room, though, Beck appeared to be under serious duress. The quarterback appeared to be limping heavily as he walked from the field into the locker room in a video posted to social media.

"Carson Beck limps to the locker room. #GoDawgs trail Texas 6-3 at the half. Something to monitor," reporter Aaron Ladd of ATL News First said.
Beck finished the first 30 minutes completing 7-of-13 passing for 56 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. He didn't receive much help from the team's running attack, as Bulldogs running backs have just 13 yards on six total carries through the first half.
Despite all of that, Georgia trails by only three points heading into the second half.
