When it comes to the world of professional wrestling, celebrity involvement has always been a thing. From the early days of Wrestlemania when Cyndi Lauper, Liberachi, Muhammad Ali, and Mr. T were involved to Shaquille O'Neal wrestling a match on AEW Dynamite, it's always been a place where they can thrive in the right situation
That happened once again on Tuesday night's WWE NXT, when Florida Gators defensive linemen George Gumbs Jr. and Tyreak Sapp appeared with WWE wrestler Myles Borne.
We got some @GatorsFB players in the house!

The segment itself was a harmless setup for a future match between Borne and Lexis King (FKA Brian Pillman Jr.). Standing in the back, Borne was with Gumbs and Sapp talking about the night and the former mentions growing up in North Carolina. Even so, he loved the Tim Tebow era Gators that won two national championships.
Then, King comes in and starts doing a heel routine talking down about the Gators and Borne. It doesn't get anywhere, but Gumbs steps up to defend Borne in the segment. Meanwhile, Sapp is holding a Florida Gators themed WWE title belt.
Overall, the segment was successful, and it featured two Gators defensive linemen who are set to be anchors on one of the best units in the country. It was a cool moment to focus on the Gators ahead of the upcoming season
