Ty Simpson officially signing to enter NFL Draft

Multiple reports have surfaced stating Ty Simpson is signing to officially declare for the NFL Draft after reportedly receiving million-dollar NIL offers from programs.

Simpson posted a picture of his Alabama locker to his Instagram story earlier today with the caption, “Been a great ride.”

It is currently a bit unclear when Simpson will be drafted. There are mock drafts that have him listed as a first-round pick and others see him as a day two pick. Either way, it is likely he will be off the board in one of the earlier rounds.

The former five-star started at quarterback for the Tide  for one season after waiting three years for an opportunity to earn the role. He led the Crimson Tide to the second round of the College Football Playoff in his first year as a starter before having to leave the Rose Bowl with an injury.

Simpson finished his first and last year as the Tide’s starting quarterback with 3,567 passing yards and 28 passing touchdowns.
